Everything, at no extra cost. Both rooms are equipped with a bass amp and two guitar amps, a PA, vocal mics and a drum kit with low-volume practice cymbals. The Red Room has a Mackie ProFX16v2 mixing desk with two Alto TS310 speakers, three Behringer XM8500 vocal mics on Gravity boom arm stands and a vintage Yamaha kit. The Green Room has a Yamaha MG12XU mixing desk with an Alto TS210 speaker, two Behringer vocal mics on Gravity boom arm stands and a Mapex Mars kit. You just bring your instruments and sticks. Tea and coffee are free, and there are honesty-box snacks and drinks on site.

The Red Room is our biggest space and fits up to 6 musicians (£20/hr peak, £10/hr off-peak). The Green Room suits up to 4, perfect for smaller line-ups, duos and solo sessions (£16/hr peak, £8/hr off-peak). Both come with a PA, vocal mics, a drum kit, a bass amp and two guitar amps.

Off-peak is weekdays 9am to 5pm, when both rooms are a flat half-price rate. Evenings from 5pm and all day at weekends are peak. We’re open 7 days, 9am to 11pm.

Rooms are booked in 1-hour slots, so you can book from a single hour up to a full day. You can book a slot right up to a year in advance. Longer sessions cost less too: see the next question.

Yes, on peak sessions. Your first 2 peak hours are the normal rate and every peak hour after that is half price. So a 4-hour evening session in the Red Room is £60 instead of £80, and the same session in the Green Room is £48 instead of £64. Off-peak is already half price, so it’s a flat rate all day.

Membership is £15 a month and gets you a free peak hour (or 2 free off-peak hours) every month in either room, which you can split across more than one booking, plus 10% off all future bookings. The free peak hour alone is worth up to £20, more than the membership costs. You can join online on our membership page in about a minute, and cancel any time.

Snacks and cold drinks are on site with an honesty box: take what you fancy and drop the money in. There’s no change given, so bring the right change with you. Tea and coffee are always free.

Sadly not. Due to the age of the building, wheelchair access isn’t possible. If you have any questions about access, give us a call before you book and we’ll do our best to help.

Yes, but anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Get in touch if you’re organising a session for a younger band and we’ll help you sort it.

Plans change, no problem. Let us know at least 24 hours before your session to move or cancel it free of charge.
