Privacy policy

Who we are

Tee Box Rehearsal Rooms is the trading name of Tee Box Rehearsal Studios Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 17455373, registered office The Bunker Building, Wilton Golf Club, Redcar, TS10 4QY), a rehearsal studio at The Bunker, Wilton Castle, Redcar TS10 4QY. What we collect

When you book a room

Your name, band or act name, email address and phone number, plus the room, date, time and price of your session. We use this to hold your slot, confirm your booking and contact you about it.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure payment page, and we never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us your name, email address, the amount paid and the last four digits of your card, so we can match payments to bookings.

When you become a member

Your name and email address, your membership status and payment history (held by Stripe), and your member code, which we use to apply your free hour and member discount when you book.

When you contact us

Our contact form opens your own email app, so we receive your message like any other email. If you call, text or message us on social media, we’ll see the details you choose to share.

When you visit the website

Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The map on our contact page is provided by Google Maps, and Google may collect information such as your IP address when the map loads.

Why we use it

• To take, manage and confirm your bookings and membership, so we can do what we’ve agreed with you.
• To take payments and keep financial records, because the law requires us to keep accounts.
• To reply to your messages and run the studio safely, which are our legitimate interests in running the business.

We never sell your information, and we won’t send you marketing without asking you first.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the services we use to run the studio:

• Stripe, for payments and memberships (Stripe’s privacy policy)
• Cloudflare, which hosts our website and booking system (Cloudflare’s privacy policy)
• Microsoft, which provides our email
• Google, for the map on our contact page (Google’s privacy policy)

Some of these companies may process information outside the UK. When they do, they protect it with safeguards recognised under UK data protection law. We may also share information when the law requires it, for example with HMRC.

How long we keep it

• Booking and payment records: 6 years, as that’s how long we have to keep financial records.
• Membership details: while you’re a member, then 6 years for payment records.
• Messages: as long as we need them to help with your enquiry, and no longer than 2 years.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. You can also ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email teeboxstudio@outlook.com and we’ll reply within one month. We may need to keep some records, such as payment records, because the law requires it.

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please get in touch with us before you do.

We’ll update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
